In recent years, the number of lung cancer patients in Taiwan Province Province has increased significantly, and lung cancer has been the top ten cancer death causes in 10. Among the types of lung cancer, lung adenocarcinoma has the highest proportion; The biggest reasons for the soaring proportion of lung cancer are air pollution (PM2.5) and smoking. According to the statistics of the World Health Organization, about 7 million people worldwide die from air pollution every year.
Four rehabilitation treatments after lung cancer surgery are helpful to maintain cardiopulmonary function.
Lung cancer patients are afraid to face lobectomy, but the hidden risk of surgery is not only lung function damage, but postoperative wound pain often leads to fear of breathing and cough, which is easy to cause complications such as sputum accumulation, lung collapse and atelectasis. Postoperative rehabilitation, health education and treatment are imperative. Wang Qiongmin, a physical therapist in Nantou Hospital of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, put forward four common rehabilitation methods, which can be carried out at home to increase cardiopulmonary function and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications:
1, abdominal breathing
Take a relaxed posture, take a deep breath slowly through the nose, the chest and upper abdomen expand outward, then exhale slowly through the mouth, and the chest and upper abdomen slowly contract inward (inhale for 3 seconds, exhale for 6 seconds), 7-8 times per minute, each time10-20 minutes, 2-3 times a day, and gradually increase the training frequency.
2, respiratory tract cleaning
Postural drainage, tapping sputum and coughing exercise can loosen the sputum and drain it to the larger trachea, which is beneficial to the elimination of sputum and prevent lung infection caused by sputum retention.
3. Upper limb stretching training
It can promote blood circulation and help the lungs expand. Hold elastic belt with both hands and stretch horizontally. While stretching, slowly inhale through the nasal cavity until it is completely stretched, then slowly relax and exhale. Return your hands to the midline position 7 ~ 8 times per minute, 10 for 20 minutes each time, 2 ~ 3 times a day, and gradually increase the training frequency.
4. Cardiopulmonary function training
If the patient's physical strength permits, treadmill, stationary bicycle or step exercise can be used, and aerobic cardio-pulmonary function training can be performed for 30 minutes three to five times a week, and the exercise intensity should reach 60 to 80% of the maximum heartbeat (220 minus age) (that is, moderate and high intensity).
People with family history also need screening and tracking themselves.
In recent years, the age group suffering from lung cancer has gradually declined. Hong Hongchang, president of Nantou Hospital, said that people with a family history are at high risk of lung cancer, and the reasons depend on the environment, diet and living habits, while smoking, second-hand smoke, cooking fumes, air pollution and previous lung diseases are all risk factors for lung cancer. If a family member has lung cancer, other family members should also pay attention to it, and go to the hospital regularly to ask a professional doctor to arrange relevant screening and follow-up.
