In order to help consumers use safe products and gradually eliminate harmful chemical components to protect consumers' health, Etamee edamame joined the safe cosmetics campaign in June 2009. Up to now, Etami is the earliest and only company in China whose products have been successfully registered in this organization.

So what kind of organization is the safe cosmetics movement?

On average, women use about 12 personal care products every day and are exposed to more than 120 chemicals every day. Only chemicals in one product may not cause harm, but when people come into contact with toxic chemicals from different sources, including cosmetics, it will cause harm over time.

The Safe Cosmetics Campaign was launched in 2004, aiming at eliminating dangerous chemical components in cosmetics and personal care products and protecting the health of consumers and workers by supervising enterprises, regulations and necessary legislative reforms. Up to now, 65,438+0,465,438+05 companies have registered in the Safe Cosmetics Campaign, and Qi Xin has made concerted efforts to actively eliminate harmful chemical components that can cause cancer, birth defects and other harmful health, and to enable safer substitutes. At the same time, about 50,000 public supporters and more than 65,438+050 organizations, including the American Council of Churches, supported the safe cosmetics movement. Its main partners are Healthy Tomorrow Alliance, Breast Cancer Fund, non-profit organizations, Environmental Working Group, Friends of the Earth and Women's Voice for the Earth.

Requirements for becoming a member of the safe cosmetics movement:

3. Publish and frequently update the product information of the deep skin database of the Environmental Working Group.

4. Abide by the provisions of the Safe Cosmetics Campaign, do not use cosmetic ingredients prohibited or restricted by the Safe Cosmetics Campaign, and replace the prohibited or restricted cosmetic ingredients with safer alternative raw materials.

5. Ensure the safety of all published products and ingredients.
