(1) Etiology Feeding management is the main cause of this disease. Long-term feeding of coarse and hard straws (such as bean stalks and sweet potato vines), lack of drinking water, sudden change of forage, sudden change of feeding methods, excessive concentrate, etc. , leading to the decline of rumen digestive function in cattle and causing the disease. The bad environment of cowshed, such as crowded, poor ventilation, humidity, lack of exercise and sunlight, can cause this disease. Secondary abomasum can be secondary to some infectious diseases, parasitic diseases, oral diseases, intestinal diseases, metabolic diseases and so on.
(2) There are three kinds of symptoms before epigastric pain: 1. Acute cattle are in an acute emergency state due to bad factors, mainly manifested as loss of appetite, decreased rumination and weakened rumen peristalsis. 2. Chronic type is the most common disease type, with a slow and stubborn course of disease, and the condition is sometimes good or bad. Sick cows show burnout, uneven skin temperature, thick and hard coat, malnutrition, emaciation and sunken eye sockets; Decreased milk production, moaning and grinding teeth. Loss of appetite and sometimes heavy drinking. Rumination is reduced, and foul belching often occurs. Rumen peristalsis is weakened, and food accumulates in the stomach with slight swelling. Corruption is dryness, constipation, foul smell and dark brown lumps. 3. Acute constipation caused by stomach constipation with skin flap, with increased resistance and tenderness during palpation (right intercostal space 7-9) and dull voice during percussion. Rapid pulse and breathing, drooping head, groaning, anxiety, unwillingness to move, especially inability to lie down. Chronic constipation, loss of appetite or partial eclipse (aversion to concentrate, preference for hay), decreased milk production, increased breathing times (60-80 times per minute), slight increase in body temperature (39.5℃), decreased rumen peristalsis and constipation.
(3) According to the clinical features such as medical history, loss of appetite, no rumination, belching, decreased peristalsis of forestomach and mild abdominal distension, a preliminary diagnosis can be made. But this disease should be differentiated from ketonemia, traumatic reticular gastritis, gastric valve obstruction and other diseases. Be sure to pay attention to whether it is primary or secondary.
(4) control 1. Treatment should be symptomatic, give digestible forage and drink plenty of water. (1) Regulate rumen function: intravenous injection 10% sodium chloride solution 500 ml, subcutaneous injection 10% Anaga injection 20 ml, and injection of 10 ~ 20 ml of cyclosporine (prohibited for pregnant cows); Take 50ml of Gentiana macrophylla tincture or nux vomica tincture 1 0ml, add 20ml of dilute hydrochloric acid, 50ml of alcohol and appropriate amount of normal water, once a day, 1 time, and keep 1 ~ 3 times; Massage the rumen with a soft mattress or cloth. (2) Application of laxatives: 200 ml of magnesium milk (which can be neutralized with 50 ml of acid) is diluted 3-5 times with water and administered by gavage or gastric tube, once a day/kloc-0; 300g of artificial salt and 30g of gentian powder can also be used. After mixing, you can take it with 1 warm water twice a day for 2 days. (3) Inoculating rumen fluid to improve the internal environment: 4 ~ 8 liters of rumen fluid of healthy cattle was taken orally. (4) For valvular stomach constipation, paraffin oil (1000 ~ 2000ml) should be taken orally for 2 days; Subcutaneous injection of Jingkeling 10 ml (forbidden for pregnant cows), 1, twice a day. (5) The traditional Chinese medicine prescription for treating chronic gastric retention (no diarrhea), cold stomach, eating no forage, cold ears and nose, and losing weight: Alpinia oxyphylla, Atractylodes macrocephala, Angelica sinensis, Cinnamomum cassia, Cyperus rotundus and Pericarpium Citri Tangerinae each 30g, Fructus Amomi, Flos Caryophylli, Zingiberis Rhizoma, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae Viride, Fructus Aurantii and Glycyrrhizae each 20g, and Schisandra chinensis 650g. Gastrointestinal catarrh (cold diarrhea, diarrhea), prescription for relieving diarrhea by warming and cooling: 40g of Rhizoma Atractylodis, 30g of Polyporus, 30g of Poria, 30g of Zexi and 30g of Radix Aconiti lateralis Preparata are added to the above prescription. Take it with boiling water, and then take it, 1, 1 every day, and take it for 3 doses. In order to restore the function of the forestomach, 60g of Radix Astragali and Radix Codonopsis, 50g of Rhizoma Atractylodis, 40g of dried ginger, dried tangerine peel and Radix Paeoniae Alba, 30g of betel nut, Fructus Aurantii and Sanxian, 20g of Linderae, Rhizoma Cyperi and Radix Glycyrrhizae were taken with boiled water and warm water respectively, and 65,438+0 doses were taken twice a day. 2. Prevent the influence of strong stress factors, such as long-distance transportation, thermal infectious diseases, fear, feed mutation, etc. Feed less or no coarse and hard straw or concentrate; Meet drinking water and green feed; Timely treatment of some diseases that cause this disease, such as reticular gastritis, abomasum displacement, ketosis and so on.
