List of prohibited foods for athletes

The foods that athletes are forbidden to eat are: foods containing too many hormones; High-fat food; Rotting food; Bitter and spicy food.

High-fat foods, especially foods with high saturated fat content, such as red meat, potato chips, fried foods and full-fat dairy products, are not only harmful to heart health, but also closely related to the fat accumulated at the waist.

The prohibited foods listed are clove (spice), licorice, lotus seeds, ham sausage, floss, lunch meat, husband and wife lung slices, hot pot, stewed vegetables, animal offal, barbecue, roasted seeds and nuts, etc.

Why are these things on the fasting list?

In fact, most athletes regard doping as a scourge and avoid it, but some people are still unfortunately caught for eating some foods containing stimulants by mistake, which leads to positive doping tests. This is the so-called food-borne doping incident.

Some athletes mentioned that "athletes can't guarantee the absolute safety of meat food when they go out to eat, and they may be exposed to the risk of lean meat." This is also the reason why athletes are forbidden to go out to eat pork, beef, mutton, ham sausage, lunch meat, loose meat, barbecue and braised dishes.

Athletes should not only complete physical training, but also pay attention to diet at any time, otherwise a little carelessness will easily lead to great disaster. Fortunately, under normal circumstances, athletes' catering has the exclusive ranch farm of the General Administration of Sports, so they can eat with confidence and exercise healthier.
