How to fertilize strawberries

1, base fertilizer. Before planting strawberries, apply some basic fertilizers, and plough the soil deeply for 25-35cm. According to the ploughing situation, apply 450-500kg of commercial organic fertilizer or 3500-4000kg of high-quality farmyard manure, 5-6kg of urea, 0/5-20kg of diammonium phosphate/kloc, and 5-6kg of potassium sulfate.

2. Top dressing. After the strawberry begins to grow, some fertilizers need to be applied before the flowering period, which is beneficial to the strawberry growth. Generally, urea 9- 10 kg, potassium sulfate 4-6 kg, urea 1 1- 13 kg and potassium sulfate 7-8 kg are applied during berry expansion. After a large number of fruits are produced, topdressing can be carried out according to the specific situation.

3, foliar fertilizer. Strawberry leaves should be sprayed with foliar fertilizer before and after flowering, and humic acid organic and inorganic liquid fertilizer can be sprayed generally, which can improve fruit setting rate, fruit quality and single fruit weight. Spraying 0.2% calcium sulfate and 0.05% manganese sulfate at the initial and full flowering stages can improve strawberry yield and fruit storage performance.
