How to make a healthy car?

At the moment when the epidemic is raging, the health problem of private cars has attracted much attention from the society. The health of a car is not only as simple as disinfection in the car, but also how to ensure the air quality in the car.

At present, China Automobile Health Index (C-AHI) is an authoritative automobile health standard. The framework of C-AHI testing and evaluation system includes five dimensions: volatile organic compounds (VOC), odor intensity (VOI), electromagnetic radiation (EMR), particulate matter (PM) and sensitization risk (VAR), aiming at comprehensively reflecting the health index of automobile products. In the evaluation results of the second batch of vehicles on 20 19, BYD Tang achieved good results.

On February 4th, the National Engineering Laboratory of Electric Vehicles of Beijing Institute of Technology issued "novel coronavirus Suggestions for Automobile Prevention and Control", pointing out that some models are directly equipped with HEPA filter elements, which have the effect of filtering PM2.5 particles similar to N95 masks and have the function of filtering droplets attached to COVID-19. Other cars with ordinary filter elements need to be equipped with additional protection in terms of filtration system.

It is reported that in order to ensure the freshness and safety of the air inside the car, a number of automobile manufacturers have recently successfully developed an efficient auto filter. On February 24th, the official account of BYD Auto WeChat issued a document saying that its high-efficiency filter element successfully passed the test of China Automotive Research Huacheng Certification (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. and obtained the first batch of CN95 certification for automotive air conditioning filter element filtration.

It is reported that China Automotive Research Huacheng Certification is the first institution in China to carry out the certification of "CN95 Efficient Composite Air Conditioning Filter". As the first batch of certified products, BYD's high-efficiency filter screen has a filtering effect of more than 95% on air pollutants such as dust, harmful gases and PM2.5 particles with a diameter of 0.3μm and above. Effectively filter droplets and particles of 0.3μm or more that bacteria and viruses often attach to, and effectively block the above harmful substances.

According to BYD's official statement, this high-efficiency filter will be first installed on Tang, e5 and e6 taxis through after-sales upgrade, and then Qin and Song models will be gradually upgraded, further bringing users a safe and clean driving space. Take BYD Tang model as an example. At present, the intelligent optimization system of green and clean air quality installed in the car can quickly and automatically detect the concentration of PM2.5 inside and outside the car and display it clearly through the Pad interface. You can automatically prompt to turn on the green cleaning system according to the concentration value, or remotely turn on the air conditioner through BYD cloud service to purify the air inside the car in advance. BYD's intelligent optimization system for green and clean air quality is similar in principle to mask filtration. It consists of non-woven fabric and chemical fiber, and a three-layer high-efficiency filter screen is formed by melt blowing process, which has a good filtering effect on particles. The fan in the car works to further purify particles and achieve the highest level of safety protection.

Some insiders said that after the epidemic, private car consumption may usher in a pulling effect, and models with air purification function will be more favored by users. Some car companies also said that they will continue to pay more attention to consumers' demand for indoor air quality and health, and how to optimize these functions in products. Facts have proved that car health will be a new competitive research and development direction in the future, and cars with healthy air will also become one of the important factors that consumers are willing to pay for in the future.
