China Laiwu Iron and Steel Museum consists of several exhibition halls, such as Pangu Hand Sculpture, Preface Hall, Mining and Metallurgy Spring and Autumn Period, Thorn Road, Brilliant Casting and Future Prospect. In front of the museum stands the theme sculpture "Hand of Pangu", which is 33.5 meters high. The upper part symbolizes the sky, the lower part represents the earth, and the middle part symbolizes human creation of civilization. The eight reliefs on the base tell eight folk stories and legends respectively, such as Pangu Tiankai, the goddess of mending the sky, and others making fires. The whole sculpture implies that steel is the cornerstone of modern civilization and the "hand of Pangu" to transform the world. The sculpture with the theme of "Iron Age" in the Preface Hall consists of symbolic workers' shapes and huge gear shapes, which symbolizes the great power of the iron and steel industry to promote the progress of the times. The exhibition hall of Mining and Metallurgy Spring and Autumn vividly reproduces the prosperity of Laiwu iron smelting industry in ancient times through rich scene sculptures, background animations and steel cultural relics. "Thorn Road" exhibition hall shows the development of modern iron smelting industry in China. The whole process of blast furnace ironmaking, converter ironmaking and electric furnace steelmaking is reproduced by using simulation technology in the exhibition hall of "Baigang Chenggang".
