Global health science is a highly internationalized and interdisciplinary emerging discipline. Systematic training of global health talents is not only the need of national strategy, but also the need of global health cooperation and development. Since 2000, the international health organization has been extremely active, and health-related issues have gone beyond the traditional health category and have been frequently included in the agenda of senior government leaders' meetings.
Global health has become a national "non-traditional security threat" and an important link between countries and regions. Accelerating the training of global health professionals can not only create a good international public opinion environment for the peaceful rise of China, but also provide an important strategic guarantee for national security. Harvard University, Washington University and other famous American universities have set up global health research centers (institutes), or set up global health departments to offer global health majors suitable for undergraduates and master students.
