Kindergarten Teachers' Suggestions on Family Education

Some Suggestions on Children's Family Education

(1) Parents should learn to respect their children and their personality rights.

Parents can't regard their children as their attachments or private property, and expect them to realize their unfulfilled wishes or ideals and make up for the shortcomings and deficiencies in their existing lives. Children are conscious and thoughtful independent individuals and should be respected and treated equally by their parents. Giving due respect to children's personality is the deepest concern of parents.

Parents should pay attention to education at this stage. Children's physical, mental and intellectual development has natural laws and stages. What parents should do is to follow the laws of nature and try their best to guide their children to develop morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically on the basis of respecting their differences in interests and talents. However, many parents are most concerned about their children's future, so many parents who are too worried spend a lot of energy and financial resources at the expense of their children's hard work today and lack of independent play time in exchange for "a better tomorrow." In fact, this is a practice of giving up the basics. We should pay attention to tapping children's interests. Interest is a person's selective attitude towards objects, which is formed on the basis of needs and psychological and physiological aspects of needs. When needs are met, there will be emotional pleasure. This selective attitude is called interest. Therefore, in order to do a good job in future education, family education should focus on finding and matching children's interests. Glika Fass, a psychologist in Hamburg, Germany, said: "What children do voluntarily and bring fun to themselves may actually signal in advance that they are talented in this field. Therefore, it is beneficial if parents carefully observe their children and find out what hobbies they have. " By carefully observing the signals of the baby's potential talents, parents can discover the baby's talents and develop them, so that the baby's potential talents can be developed. For example, children who have a special subconscious about music will convey body language consistent with the beat of music when listening to concerts. Children with a unique sense of spiritual language have a stronger perception of language and sound than other children. When they hear a certain sound, they can't help imitating it, and other children who are particularly sensitive will respond accordingly. When families find that their children are better than other children in this period of infancy, they can use good methods to induce their children's corresponding interests, so as to gradually cultivate their children into excellent materials within their interests. The task of family education is to stimulate and promote the discovery of children's "inner potential" and obtain natural and free development according to their own laws. Therefore, caring for children's physical and mental development is not only the material life of asking for children's clothes, but also the cultivation of so-called knowledge and ability instilled in children. It is based on the natural law of children's physical and mental development to give children full respect and freedom, so that children can enjoy happiness in natural growth and form independent will quality and sound personality in daily life.

(2) Parents should constantly improve their knowledge structure and content.

Many parents think that their knowledge level is poor, so they give up the family education for their children to some extent, and regard their responsibilities as parents as just the care obligations of "nannies". It is enough to take care of children's basic needs such as food, clothing, housing and transportation, and the obligation to educate children's intellectual development is completely pinned on kindergartens. In fact, children spend the longest time with their parents, and parents' words and deeds have the most profound influence on children. Therefore, parents are children's first teachers. Family education plays a vital role in children's growth. Therefore, parents should strengthen their own ideological and moral cultivation, study some professional knowledge of early childhood education, strengthen communication and flow with kindergarten teachers, form a three-dimensional combination of family and kindergarten in early childhood education, and make children get all-round and multi-channel edification and training. Today's children are exposed to all kinds of things in real life, which is completely different from their parents' environment in infancy. Children's strong curiosity makes them more curious and have wider interests. All these require our parents to combine the needs of today's family education and constantly learn and update their knowledge structure and content, so that family education can adapt to the requirements of the times intellectually.

(3) Parents should rationally treat all kinds of life problems in the process of children's growth.

Parents are bound to encounter various problems in the process of educating their children. To solve these problems properly, we must use scientific and reasonable educational methods. For example, when children ask questions that parents can't answer, parents can't give specious and ambiguous answers, or even pretend to understand and give wrong answers in order to protect their "dignity", not to mention saying "Go ahead and read the books yourself" to suppress children's enthusiasm for knowledge, which will intentionally or unintentionally suppress their curiosity and active nature. Parents should tell their children realistically. Tell others after reading a book or consulting them. You can also look for answers with your children, or encourage your children to look up books to find answers. In addition, when children do make mistakes, parents' attitudes and practices should be consistent. We should cooperate closely and explain the truth to young children (to make the truth of adult society childlike, we should not give up guiding this part of life knowledge just because they don't understand it well. "Pick up the fallen man, dust him off and let him go on-everyone makes mistakes, so don't punish every mistake" (Colin. Powell). If parents can fully consider the characteristics of their children in the important factors of family education, formulate appropriate methods to cooperate with their children's growth and development, and strictly "pay attention to exploring interests" and develop interests, they will certainly be able to complete another important link of family education.
