Su Qin was a famous representative of a military strategist during the Warring States Period, and advocated uniting the six countries at that time against Qin, so he was deeply impressed by the six countries. Later, he was killed in Qi State. The King of Qi was very angry and wanted to avenge Su Qin, but he couldn't find the murderer at the moment. A minister gave the King of Qi an idea, asking him to fabricate the charges of Su Qin, dismember Su Qin's body, cut Su Qin's head off the body, hang it on the city gate, offer a reward for a daughter and look for a killer.
As soon as the poster was put up, four people claimed to have killed Su Qin themselves. King Qi said: "This is not allowed to take credit!" All four insisted that they did it. The king of Qi said, "In that case, will you four share the 1200 gold equally?" All four people said "good, good". "How much will each of you get?" The king of Qi asked again. The four people said in unison: "250." The king of Qi was furious and said, "Somebody, push these four' 250s' out and behead them!" The word "250" was handed down in this way.
This is probably the reason why "250" is the most widely circulated.

In his later years, the old scholar was finally disheartened and indifferent to fame and fortune. As a result, he was very happy. The scholar was deeply moved when he recalled the success or failure of his life, so he named his two sons: one was success and the other was failure.
From then on, the scholar studied behind closed doors at home and lived happily. One day, the scholar told his wife, "I'm going to the market." You urge your second son to write at home, the eldest son writes 300, and the youngest son writes 200. " After the scholar came back from the fair, he asked his second son how hard he worked at home. His wife replied, "I wrote it, but it's not enough. It's more than enough. On average, both of them are 250! "

The ancients divided silver into two parts, generally 520 for "one letter", wrapped in paper, a bit like we like to wrap coins in bags now. Five hundred and twenty is "letter" and two hundred and fifty-two is "half letter". Because "semi-closed" and "semi-crazy" are homophonic, people later called crazy people "250".
