2008 is the proudest year for China people, because the 29th Olympic Games will be held in China soon. Doesn't this mean that China is prosperous?
I am looking forward to August 8, 2008. This is the opening day of the Beijing Olympic Games, the day when the world sports family gathers in Beijing, and the day when all China people feel proud. As a small host, I really want to be a glorious Olympic volunteer. Although the conditions are not mature enough to be a real volunteer, I can still make my own contribution to the Beijing Olympic Games.
First of all, as a citizen of China, I want to greet every foreign friend from all over the world with my enthusiasm and my smile, show our friendly hospitality in China, and let foreign friends feel China through every smiling face of China people.
Secondly, I will study English harder. During the Olympic Games, I can talk and communicate with my foreign friends in English, and provide them with all the help I can, such as being a small translator, helping foreigners to show the way, and making foreign friends like China with the enthusiastic help of everyone in China.
Thirdly, I also want to know more about Beijing and the Olympic Games. In the future, I can introduce the long history and splendid culture of our beautiful China and China to foreign friends, and let them know more about China by communicating with everyone in China.
Finally, I want to mobilize everyone around me, starting from me and now, to strengthen civilization and etiquette and jointly strengthen and publicize environmental awareness, so as to make the Beijing Olympic Games a real "green Olympics, people's Olympics and high-tech Olympics".
