Health index is a quantification of health status and a numerical value to measure and characterize the health status of the studied object, which can be obtained through complex logical and mathematical operations according to the key characteristics of the object. This paper describes the health index of distribution network from four dimensions: safety, reliability, economy and green. Open interaction will be the fifth dimension when the user's response is mature.
2) health classification of distribution network
The health index of distribution network quantifies the health state of distribution network, and different values correspond to different states. Based on the current research and field application, the range of distribution network health index is determined to be (0,5), which corresponds to five grades of health, sub-health, general defect, serious defect and critical defect. The greater the score, the better the health.
3) Calculation of distribution network health index
The calculation of health index mainly includes two parts: one is the input data, which is the key characteristic quantity representing the health state; The second is the calculation method and model of health index. As shown in figure 1:

(1) Based on the principle of distribution thinking, simplicity, science and practicality, referring to the existing guidelines and regulations, combining with the statistical analysis of fault causes, literature research at home and abroad and the practical experience of frontline experts, the key characteristic quantities describing the health indicators of distribution equipment and distribution network respectively are put forward by adopting scientific, feasible, comprehensive, concise and open criteria. In this paper, more than 100 existing factors and evaluation indicators that affect the health index of distribution networks in different departments and professions are investigated, and a large number of underlying data are mapped to 9 key feature quantities, and then mapped to 4 evaluation dimensions. See table 1 for the specific calculation formula.
