One country, two systems, application: "One country, two systems" was first applied to solving the Hong Kong issue. 1982 During the Sino-British negotiations on the Hong Kong issue, Deng Xiaoping explicitly proposed to solve the Hong Kong issue by means of "one country, two systems", with the aim of smooth return and transition of Hong Kong. China and Britain signed a joint statement on the Hong Kong issue. From 65438 to 0990, the National People's Congress passed the Basic Law of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Special Administrative Region, which implemented this great idea in the form of law. 1 July, 9971day, Hong Kong returned smoothly and the great concept of "one country, two systems" was confirmed.
Advantages: the same root and homology is the common aspiration of compatriots on both sides of the strait. Second, there is a successful demonstration in Hong Kong.
