What exactly are three veins and seven rounds? What does it have to do with physical and mental health?

In ancient India, people believed that life energy was concentrated in the three veins and seven rounds of the human body.

According to Indian yoga theory, besides the tangible physical body, human beings also have intangible spiritual bodies. This spiritual body is closely related to the distribution and significance of three chakras and seven chakras.

Nadi/Channel

According to Indian yoga theory, there are 72,000 veins in the human body as channels for energy distribution. The concept of pulse is similar to meridians in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture.

Left vein? (Left channel or Ida Nadi)? Yin pulse or moon pulse.

Midrib? (Central Channel, namely Sushun Nanadi)

Is the pulse right? (Right channel or Pinggaranadi)? Namely yang pulse or sun pulse

Left vein? Compared with the past, sleepiness, sensibility and superego (social constraints) are in charge of our memory, past and emotion.

The right pulse (also called Yang pulse or Sun pulse) is in charge of our thinking, future, action and planning, rational logic, domination and self relative to the future.

The midrib is located in the middle of the spine. Compared with the present, evolution and spiritual promotion, this is the only channel for human beings to integrate with the spiritual power of the universe, and it is also the source of joy. But most people can only use the energy of the left and right veins because the middle vein is not opened, and most of them can't use it equally on both sides. Some people use more energy on the left side, while others use more energy on the right side, resulting in two completely different personalities. Similarly, if the left and right meridians are too active or blocked, people's attention will be diverted from the middle meridian, leading to imbalance, physical and mental illness, and spiritual progress will be even more hindered.

The word chakra comes from Sanskrit and means "wheel" or "disc". It is conceivable that vitality rotates and vibrates when flowing.

Chakras are usually depicted as lotus flowers, which are regarded as flowers representing transformation-lotus flowers bloom through soil and water, and finally enter the air and are bathed in cosmic energy.

The course of mankind is similar: with the continuous evolution, our connection with the universe is getting closer and closer, but before that, we must cross the material world and blend in.

From bottom to top, they are:

Root wheel: muladhara

Abdominal chakra: svadhishthana

Umbilical chakra: Manipur

Heart chakra: Anahata

Throat chakra: vishuddha

Eyebrow wheel: ajna

Top wheel: sahasrara

Root chakra: related to our survival in this world (1-7 years old)

Abdominal chakra: related to sexual desire and heterosexual relationship (8- 14 years old)

Umbilical chakra: related to ability and stubbornness (14-2 1 year)

Each chakra is associated with a specific stage of life, and we learn different things at different stages. Events that occur at any stage of our body or emotions, such as great changes in childhood, emotional trauma and physical injury, may have a lasting impact on a chakra. To overcome it, we must first know where the blocked physical or emotional memories are, find them and get rid of them.

The more you understand the characteristics of imbalance/balance between chakras and acupoints, the more you can help yourself to get rid of it.

If one chakra is blocked, it will affect other chakras. The result may be stagnation or bondage, lack of passion or even depression.

Different chakra imbalance will lead to different physical/emotional problems, such as root chakra imbalance, which will be manifested as: insecurity, always feeling unable to provide daily necessities, uninterrupted family conflicts, lack of self-confidence and emotional emptiness. ...

If the abdominal chakra is unbalanced, it will be sensitive and suspicious, and women will have low back pain, sciatica and gynecological diseases. ...

Yoga practice can improve posture, make the body more energetic, help chakras keep balance and remove obstacles.

The position of each chakra, the corresponding elements, the expression of imbalance and how to keep the balance of chakras through practice will be explained in detail in the next article. For more information, please pay attention to the following official WeChat account.
