What kinds of health insurance are there?

Health insurance takes the insured's body as the insurance object, which is an insurance in which the insured gets compensation for the expenses or losses caused by illness or accident. Health insurance is divided into sickness insurance, medical insurance, disability income loss insurance and nursing insurance. At present, the first two kinds are common in the market.

When purchasing health insurance, critical illness insurance should be given priority. Sickness insurance refers to the insurance that can get claims after an agreed disease occurs, including the above-mentioned critical illness insurance. Once the insured is diagnosed by the hospital and meets the conditions of disease compensation agreed in the contract, the insurance company will pay the insurance money according to the agreed amount. This kind of insurance is aimed at serious illness, which will cause huge medical expenses once it happens. Because the incidence rate is relatively low and the rate is relatively cheap, it is a relatively basic guarantee and needs to be insured first.

At present, medical insurance mainly includes reimbursement type and subsidy type. Reimbursement means that the reasonable hospitalization expenses of the insured are reimbursed by the insurance company according to a certain proportion (generally about 80%), and the reimbursement amount is limited to the insurance amount. The subsidy contract stipulates that after the insured is hospitalized, he will pay the insurance money according to the daily hospitalization allowance and the accumulated days that can be paid.
