People with a history of infection in COVID-19 should apply for a health code after isolation monitoring and post-rehabilitation examination. Passengers who are diagnosed with COVID-19 virus, or who are positive for nucleic acid and IgM antibody and have a history of COVID-19 infection should follow the following procedures if they leave Los Angeles:
1. Not earlier than 1 month before departure, scan the QR code below, fill in the online registration form for passengers from Los Angeles to China, and truly and accurately declare the infection history.
2. After recovery, a lung examination and two nucleic acid tests will be conducted (the sampling interval is not less than 24 hours), and the diagnosis certificate containing the results of lung CT or X-ray examination issued by the hospital and the negative certificate of two nucleic acid tests will be mailed to the Consulate General of 12308LA@gmail.com for review.
3. Upon examination by the Consulate General, please continue quarantine management and health monitoring 14 days.
4. If the isolation monitoring situation is normal, conduct "double inspection" within 2 days before departure as required, and submit corresponding certificates to apply for health code.
Time line for going home
According to the content of the policy, we know that according to the current situation, passengers with a history of pneumonia in COVID-19 will return to China under the following circumstances:
Wait at least 17~20 days after recovery.
It is necessary to fly directly from L.A. to China.
Routine double inspection is needed before taking off in Los Angeles.

At this stage, if the double negative test in each step is positive, it will take about 17~20 days to follow the same steps. Therefore, it is suggested that friends who have recovered can consider booking tickets after lung examination and two re-examinations to confirm that there is no problem.
