The latest traffic regulations in Thailand

According to the regulations of CAAT, Thai Airways International (hereinafter referred to as Thai Airways) requires passengers from South Korea, Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Italy and Iran to show the following documents:

1. No coronavirus pneumonia-19 The medical health certificate and medical examination report should be issued within 2 days before the flight takes off.

2. Medical insurance in which the personal insurance amount of passengers exceeds $654.38 million+is regarded as medical insurance in Thailand.

According to the notice of CAAT, the Thai Ministry of Health has designated South Korea, Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Italy and Iran as high-risk areas of coronavirus pneumonia-19, and all Thai airlines carrying passengers from high-risk areas must assist in the implementation of infectious disease prevention and control measures in Thailand. Therefore, Thai Airways has been instructed to present medical health certificates and physical examination reports without the risk of coronavirus pneumonia-19 infection, as well as medical insurance policies to passengers travelling to Thailand from South Korea (Seoul and Busan), Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macau (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Kunming, Xiamen, Hong Kong and Macau) and Italy (Rome and Milan), pending approval. In addition, passengers must fill in the T8 form (Infectious Diseases Act 20 15) and present this form to the disease control officer of the International Office of Infectious Diseases Prevention and Control upon arrival at the destination airport in Thailand.

1. At present, entry into Thailand is prohibited. Only open to business people with work permit, health certificate and medical insurance, and quarantine after entry 14 days. Other visas are not allowed to enter;

2. At present, domestic aviation services in Thailand have been cancelled, and there have been no cases for several days. At the same time, it is discussing with China, South Korea, Singapore and Japan to consider opening flights and memorandums of agreement for mutual encouragement between business and medical personnel.

1. How to deal with passengers who depart from the above areas and transfer to a third country through Thailand airport?

A: Passengers departing from the above-mentioned areas and transferring at Thai airports are also required to provide the above-mentioned health certificates, medical examination reports and medical insurance certificates.

2. How to deal with Thai passengers?

A: Thai tourists must also show their health certificates and physical examination reports when they return to Thailand.

3. Are there any exceptions for holders of diplomatic passports and United Nations passports?

A: There are no exceptions.
