When is the birthday of Guanyin bodhisattva?

There are three birthdays of Guanyin Bodhisattva, which are February 19th, June 19th and September 19th of the lunar calendar.

It is the birthday of Guanyin Bodhisattva when she was a human being. On this day, she became Yincui gorge. Taoism (the 19th day of the sixth lunar month) is the day to get fruits. Becoming a monk (the 19th day of the ninth lunar month) is the day of becoming a monk.

Guanyin is Kumarajiva's old translation, Xuanzang's new translation is Guan Zi, and China is called Guanyin for short. Guanyin Bodhisattva is a symbol of compassion and wisdom in Buddhism and occupies an extremely important position in Mahayana Buddhism and folk beliefs. Japanese scholar Goto Jing Daole believes that Guanyin Bodhisattva originated from Sakyamuni Buddha, evolved from a concrete living Buddha to a metaphysical Dharma Buddha, and evolved from Dharma Buddha to a corresponding Buddha, becoming an idealized Guanyin Bodhisattva. During this period, it was influenced by Brahmanism in Greece and ancient India in terms of name, image and characteristics, and finally took shape in BC 1 century.
