Documents to be submitted for the adoption of children in orphanages
The adopter shall submit the following materials:
1, household registration book and ID card;
2, the adopter's unit or village (neighborhood) committee issued by my marital status, children's situation and the ability to raise and educate the adoptee. ;
3. Physical health examination certificate issued by medical institutions at or above the county level. In addition, if an abandoned baby (child) whose biological parents cannot be found is adopted, the birth certificate of the adopter issued by the family planning department shall be submitted.
(2) Procedures for adopting children in orphanages
The adopter can apply to the adoption registration authority for the adoption of a child after meeting the conditions for adopting a child in an orphanage and preparing relevant documents. After receiving the application for adoption registration and related materials, the adoption registration authority shall conduct an examination within 30 days from the next day. Those who meet the requirements of the adoption law shall register for adoption and issue an adoption certificate, and the adoption relationship shall be established from the date of registration; If it does not meet the requirements stipulated in the adoption law, it shall not be registered and the reasons shall be explained to the parties concerned.
Adopt abandoned babies or children whose biological parents cannot be found. The adoption registration authority announces the search for its biological parents before registration; 60 days after the announcement, abandoned babies and children who are not claimed by their biological parents or other guardians are regarded as abandoned babies and children whose biological parents cannot be found. The announcement period is not included in the registration period.
Besides the conditions that the adopter has to meet, as an adopted child, there are also certain conditions. Generally, when children are older, adoption is often not allowed.
