Zibo Vocational College is a full-time comprehensive higher vocational school sponsored by Zibo Municipal People's Government. Founded in 2002, its school history can be traced back to 1956. Now it is the construction unit of "China Characteristic Higher Vocational School and Professional Construction Plan", the outstanding construction unit of national model school, the national high-quality school, the national diagnosis and reform pilot school, and the modern apprenticeship pilot unit of the Ministry of Education.
The National Digital Campus Construction Demonstration School of Vocational Colleges has successively won the honorary titles of National Advanced Unit of Vocational Education, National Advanced Unit of Spiritual Civilization Construction and National Model Unit of Greening, and won the Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Award. It has been selected as one of the "Top 50" vocational colleges in terms of teaching resources, integration of production and education, service contribution and international influence, and the "Top 50" vocational colleges in Asia-Pacific.
2. Teacher setup
The school consists of 19 departments and 73 majors, divided into three campuses: north, south and west, with a planned campus area of more than 2,400 mu (including 730 mu to be allocated) and more than 25,000 students, ranking first among similar colleges in the province for a long time.
There are 4 national vocational education training bases, 3 national demonstrative virtual simulation training bases 1, 3 national productive training bases, 2 national virtual simulation training centers 1, 2 national collaborative innovation centers, and 1 national vocational education "double-qualified" teacher training base.
3. Teaching construction
The school vigorously promotes the reform of education and teaching, insists on cultivating students' employment competitiveness and development potential, establishes the talent training concept of "two deepening" and "four integration" and the talent training model of "school-enterprise cooperation, workplace docking and alternating learning and training", and actively implements the decision of the CPC Central Committee on accelerating the construction of a modern vocational education system.
Through the forms of "3+2" counterpart training, cooperative training between higher vocational education and technician education, five-year consistent system, and "three-two-step" training, secondary vocational education, higher vocational education and undergraduate education are effectively connected, and talents are systematically cultivated. At the national work conference on improving the quality of vocational education personnel training, relevant practices were typically exchanged.
