What is occupational health, safety and environmental protection?

HSE is the abbreviation of health, safety and environmental management system. HSE management system is an organic whole of organizations, responsibilities, practices, procedures, processes and resources for implementing health, safety and environmental management. These elements are organically integrated, interrelated and interacted through advanced, scientific and systematic operation modes to form a dynamic management system.

Health means that people are physically free from diseases and psychologically (spiritually) in a good state.

Safety refers to the efforts made in the process of labor production to improve working conditions, overcome unsafe factors and ensure the smooth progress of labor production on the premise of ensuring the health of workers, the loss of enterprise property and the safety of people's lives. Safety in production is the fundamental guarantee for all business activities of enterprises.

Environment refers to the sum total of various natural forces or functions closely related to human beings and affecting human life and production activities. It includes not only the combination of various natural factors, but also the combination of ecological relationship between human beings and natural factors.

The safety, environment and health management system (HSE system for short) is established according to the operation mode of: plan-implementation (DO)-verification (inspection)-improvement (action), that is, PDCA mode.
