Personal dose monitoring of radiation workers is an important part of occupational health monitoring and one of the necessary conditions for diagnosing radiation diseases. Strengthening personal dose monitoring and management is of great significance to ensure the health of radiation workers and do a good job in radiation protection.
The radiation work unit shall, in accordance with the requirements of the Measures for the Administration of Occupational Health of Radiation Workers and relevant national standards and norms, arrange for the radiation workers of the unit to receive personal dose monitoring, and abide by the following provisions:
The monitoring period of personal dose of external irradiation is generally 30 days, and the longest period shall not exceed 90 days; The individual dose monitoring cycle of internal irradiation shall be implemented in accordance with relevant standards; Establish and keep personal dose monitoring files for life; Radiation workers are allowed to consult and copy their personal dose monitoring documents.
Personal dose monitoring files should include: methods and results of routine monitoring and other related information; Relevant information such as radiation dose and investigation report in case of emergency or accident. Radiation work units shall record the results of personal dose monitoring in the "Certificate of Radiation Workers" in a timely manner.
Radiation workers shall observe the following provisions when entering the radiation workplace:
Wear personal dosimeter correctly; When leaving the unsealed radioactive substance workplace after the operation, monitor the radioactive surface pollution of personal body surface, clothes and protective articles as required, handle the pollution in time, make records and file it; When entering the workplace with strong radiation such as irradiation device, industrial flaw detection and radiotherapy, in addition to the conventional personal dosimeter, you should also wear an alarm dosimeter.
