Mental health notes 202003

Liking degree: four stars

I have shared this book in Zhou Geng group for ten days (the sharing link is here) ... only after reading the end of the book. This book is a new book by Mr. Xin Li. Before this book, I listened to the audio of the manuscript in the Himalayas, and others read it according to it. The tone was too dull to listen to, and I didn't begin to understand Chinese medicine at that time. Later, after reading his classic enlightenment of traditional Chinese medicine, I was circled. Then when I saw his new book, I made a decisive start. There is also a book about children's health, which I will read in the future.

In fact, two years ago, I probably wouldn't have opened this book at all. I didn't know anything about Chinese medicine before, and I felt unreliable. I read some articles on black Chinese medicine written by people who don't actually know Chinese medicine, and I absorbed them without any verification. The book World Outlook had a great influence on me last year. It is a history of philosophy of science, which talks about some basic assumptions of science and the history of some major scientific discoveries. I found that science is not as reliable as I thought, and I also wrote a 5000-word article called "Does absolute truth exist? I thought scientists were bent on pursuing absolute truth ... but I didn't expect Kepler, for example, to understand God as much as possible ... I also felt how small science was in front of truth. I now think that science is only a way for human beings to approach the truth, not the only way. After that, I began to accept many things that I couldn't see before, and there were also many unexpected gains.

However, compared with the enlightenment of Chinese medicine classics, the dialogue in the lecture occupies a lot of space, and it feels that the content is not so structured and a bit lengthy.

As soon as I opened the book, the title of the first chapter on the first page made me scream: "Perceive three sides: body-emotion-mind". Isn't this the "body, mind and brain" of psychology? The book says:

I have a deep understanding. In fact, my factory setting is originally emotional (heart zone 3 of type 9 personality), but I have lived in my mind for more than 20 years, which is of course very uncomfortable. Later, after letting the inner energy flow naturally, the whole person was much more comfortable. Recently, I have also explored the physical and emotional power through meditation and yoga, and I feel that I have opened a new world.

I found that everyone's body has a lot of life energy, but sometimes the energy is blocked, stuck, and consumed too much at a certain point, so it shows a state of powerlessness. I am also convinced of this among coaches, and take this as a principle to accompany my coaching partners to unblock the congestion and see what energy I have.

So how do you make your energy flow? The first and most important step is consciousness.

This book places great emphasis on the importance of "consciousness".

After I came back from Teacher Zhao's yoga workshop at the end of last year, I meditated in yoga and meditation every day. Reading this book also has a lot of guiding significance for my daily meditation. I also realize the significance and help of relaxation and awakening to a person. For me, meditation and meditation are an opportunity for me to connect with myself. Otherwise, I usually fly around among all kinds of things outside, but I am getting farther and farther away from my body and mind.

In meditation, I also clearly feel that my daily cognition of myself has also improved, and I can observe more what state I am in at the moment, instead of being habitually overwhelmed by information and emotions.

The book emphasizes many times whether a person's spirit is "clear and stable", which is extremely important for health and happiness, because

This reminds me of Li's words about wisdom: "I know what I want in my heart, what I can give up and what I am responsible for." Inner self-confidence, doing something, doing everything. Behind this, the "self-evident" points are interlinked.

However, most of the time, I don't really understand, but I think I do. The brain is deceptive. The following paragraph is about rationalization of the brain.

I also had a good experience: in fact, I am unhappy not because of anything, but because of my unhappy body. This thing appeared, so I attached unhappiness to it ... which also reminded me of many paragraphs in The Power of the Present. Walking, I found that psychology, Chinese medicine and spirituality are actually interlinked.

So how to detect it? The book gives a very simple starting point: at any time, see if your hands and feet are relaxed, and if not, relax. I added another one: see if the roots are relaxed.

I can also feel that with meditation, I accept myself more and more, because during meditation, I do nothing and watch my thoughts fly with a bystander. This is also a process of seeing and allowing yourself, and then returning to your true heart. No matter what happens inside or outside meditation, it is "no reaction, no confrontation" and "let it come and let it go". In this kind of practice without automatic reaction, by facing up to your feelings, you gradually find that those ideas are not so terrible. The more we avoid things, the more they contain points we can't get rid of.

I especially feel the same way about such a passage in the book:

I remember once in a noodle restaurant, someone said that I didn't think everyone was tall enough, so it was not good and I had to transfer. I didn't understand. What's the problem? Why must it be high? This also reminds me that "silence" is also an important material in psychological counseling. Some people are afraid of silence and always want to fill the gap with something, while others feel embarrassed and uneasy. I thought that at a small gathering with Mengzi, several people were silent at the same time, but for just a few seconds, we all felt very beautiful and impressed.

So respect your physical and mental state, open it if you want, and close it if you want. You can't force yourself to be in a good state, but give yourself more permission and more freedom.

Permission is also a kind of respect for your own cognition. There is a lot of information now, and "Raiders" and "Raiders" can be seen everywhere. It seems that all we have to do is find the treasure map and follow it. But the real wealth lies in everyone's inner peace

The most important principle of configuring insurance, as Pan Pan said in the fruitful class, is to see whether you are at ease.

Well, I wrote a lot. Let's stop here first ~
