Did the "fake pregnant princess" finally give birth to the Shaanxi giant panda and add a new one?

On June 20th, the female giant pandas "Yang Yang" and "Aibang" raised by Shaanxi Rare Wildlife Rescue and Breeding Research Center successfully gave birth to three cubs respectively. At present, both mother and baby are healthy.

Yang Yang, a 13-year-old giant panda, is the first captive giant panda artificially bred by the Provincial Rare Wildlife Rescue and Breeding Research Center. In 2009 and 20 14, all the twins and four children survived. A male cub was successfully delivered again in the early morning of June 1 1. It's enviable to see her holding her cub happily.

Another heroic mother, "Aibang", this year 1 1 year-old, came to the center through Sichuan-Shaanxi cooperative breeding exchange. Aibang is an old friend of many viewers. On July 20 14, Aibang in Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Base showed signs of suspected pregnancy such as increased progesterone level and decreased exercise. The breeder adjusted her to an air-conditioned single-room dormitory and added various fruits to her diet. After more than a month, the breeders confirmed that Aibang was not pregnant when testing various hormone indicators. According to the analysis of the breeder, this may be a wonderful move for giant pandas to improve their lives. In 20 16, Aibang gave birth to his beloved son "666" and died soon, which made everyone feel sorry. This time he came to Shaanxi and gave birth to two cubs, both male. I hope they can grow up healthily.

Ma Qingyi, dean of the Veterinary Hospital of Shaanxi Rare Wildlife Rescue and Feeding Research Center and a senior veterinarian, said: "At present, the cubs are growing well. Breast milk is well secreted. This year, four giant pandas will be born in the center. Besides Yang Yang and Ebin, there are two giant pandas to be born. At present, our researchers are paying close attention to the upcoming birth of two giant pandas (expectation) and the birth of new individuals. "

At present, there are 345 wild pandas and 22 captive pandas in our province.
