What does the Health and Sports Bureau do?
The responsibilities of the Health and Sports Bureau are: 1. To implement the national health policies of the Party and the State, formulate policies and plans for the development of health and sports undertakings, and be responsible for the standardization work within the scope of duties; 2, coordinate and promote the deepening of medical and health system reform, study and put forward major principles, policies and measures to deepen the reform of medical and health system; 3. Organize the formulation and coordination of policies and measures to deal with the aging population, and be responsible for promoting the construction of health service system for the elderly and the combination of medical care and nursing; 4, responsible for the development of medical institutions medical service industry management measures and supervise the implementation, the establishment of medical service evaluation and supervision and management system; 5. Responsible for health promotion, health education and health promotion, and carry out foreign health cooperation and exchanges; 6. To undertake other tasks assigned by the government.
