I am a composition of a small dentist.

One Sunday morning, in front of the consulting room of Xiaobaitu Stomatological Hospital, 30 evening newspaper reporters were incarnated as little angels in white, and they were listening carefully to the requirements of the summer camp activities of "I am a little dentist" by the team leader. I was one of them.

Wearing a white coat, my pride is still there. Following the footsteps of the dentist, we visited the functional area of the hospital with a curious heart. Through the explanation of the dentist's uncle, we learned about the evolution of teeth and the origin and evolution of dentistry. A brief history of the development of stomatology from Paleolithic to the present. Through the fossils of various animal skulls and teeth, we know that when human beings are evolving, their teeth are also changing, which promotes the convenience of human diet.

In the Museum of Dental History, we visited ancient dental instruments. What I am most familiar with is the pedal dental drill asked by/kloc-0 in the mid-9th century. Mainly use the mechanical principle to improve the speed, clean the worm gear teeth, trim the teeth and polish the dentures. There is also a dental chair, which is relatively simple, lifting and steering are mechanical and extremely inconvenient to operate, but its configuration and function meet the requirements of general dental treatment at that time.

In the oral health science library, we learned the basic knowledge of tooth protection. For example, the requirements for toothbrushes are: toothbrushes must be replaced in two or three months; After using the toothbrush, rinse the toothbrush thoroughly with clear water, spin off the water on the toothbrush bristles, and then put the toothbrush upward in a ventilated place to dry; The bristles of children's toothbrushes should be moderate in hardness. If it is too hard, it will damage the gums and the teeth will turn yellow after the enamel is damaged. If the gums come into contact with hard objects, it is easy to bleed, and more seriously, it will affect the development of gums and cause tooth growth deformity. And through the prize-winning question-and-answer lecture after the dental aunt, I have a further understanding of teeth and how to protect them.

Finally, we came to the dentist's treatment room. Here, I learned how to wash my hands correctly, and how to check the patient's teeth with the instruments I know. I also experienced it myself and became a small dentist.

This activity, let me personally experience, learned the knowledge outside the textbook, and improved my oral hygiene awareness through the understanding of dental care knowledge. I will definitely form the good habit of caring for my teeth, and I will have a good healthy tooth in the future.
