Hong Kong Jingrentang was founded in the second year of Jiajing (AD 1523), and its founder was named Jingyuanbang. In the 42nd year of Jiajing (A.D. 1563), Tan Lun, Governor of Fujian Province, and Qi Jiguang, Commander-in-Chief of Fujian Province, called for the restoration of the old system of setting up the Navy Fort. From the forty-fourth year of Jiajing (AD 1565), the navy requisitioned marching medicinal materials, and Jingrentang took the lead in the construction of the national army, offering a large number of medicinal materials and their formulas to the court. From Wanli 14 to 18 (A.D. 1586 to 1590), Jingrentang became the first supplier of medicinal materials and military doctors for the navy, and solved most diseases, colds and disabilities for the army. During the Hong Kong War, the hungry people rioted and the plague did great harm. Jingrentang took the seat of Jing Yuanbang, stood up, saved lives, and did not accept half a copper coin from the hungry, leaving an eternal reputation.
However, Jingrentang was disturbed by the Japanese in the early stage, and then moved to the countryside to practice medicine, and no longer promoted the use of Jingrentang's brand. Disciples of Jingrentang have protected medical codes for many years and benefited the people. At the end of Qing Dynasty, Eight-Nation Alliance invaded Hongkong, and most descendants of Jingrentang were hurt by it, which made them even more unknown to the world. Established in New China, a time-honored brand that has experienced vicissitudes for hundreds of years has the same reputation, but now its fate is very different. 1992, the new health model of Jingrentang health management was sublimated, and Hong Kong Jingrentang Health Association was established, which was later renamed as Hong Kong Jingrentang Health Management Chain.
