Teaching difficulties:
Obesity and height.
Teaching process:
Import theme:
Show pictures of Yao Ming the giant and Pan Changjiang the comedian.
Answer the names and heights of the characters in the picture collectively, which leads to the question: "Why do people have different heights?"
Discuss in groups, the representatives of each group speak, and the teacher summarizes the correct reasons.
First, the reasons that affect the height:
1, genetic factors: people's height is influenced by race, sex and heredity.
2, physical exercise: physical activity is conducive to accelerating blood circulation and promoting bone growth.
3. Nutrition level: When nutrition cannot meet the needs of bone growth, the growth rate of body length will slow down. Nutrients closely related to bone growth are vitamin D, calcium and phosphorus. Insufficient iodine and zinc can also lead to short stature of children.
4. Living environment, social culture and climatic conditions: Children in the north of China are taller than those in the south.
Second, the influence of exercise on children's height
Show pictures of skinny people in African countries. Think, raise your hand and speak boldly.
Ask questions:
1, "What is the cause of obesity?"
2. "What harm does obesity and thinness do to the body?"
Discuss in groups, and representatives of each group will speak.
The teacher summed up the correct reasons.
(1) Causes of obesity:
1, Heredity: If one parent is obese, the probability of their children being obese is 40%; If both parents are obese, the probability of children being obese is 70%.
2, diet: excessive calorie intake, insufficient activity, a large accumulation of fat.
3. Insufficient exercise: lack of outdoor activities and physical exercise leads to imbalance between energy supply and consumption, which often leads to obesity.
(2) Reasons for being thin:
1, spleen and stomach disharmony, dyspepsia, abdominal distension, loss of appetite.
2. Chronic diseases, such as anemia, vomiting, diarrhea and parasitic diseases. Don't absorb things after eating.
3, partial eclipse, picky eaters, anorexia, not eating on time, eating snacks.
4. There are few outdoor activities and lack of physical exercise.
Inspire fat students and thin students to talk about the inconvenience that fat and thin bring to their life, study and physical exercise.
Third, how to control obesity?
1, control diet. In the case of a balanced diet, reduce staple foods appropriately and eat more fruits and vegetables.

Lecture notes for the third grade of "Height and Fat"
The content of the class I'm going to tell you today is "Height and Obesity", and the teaching object is Grade Three. Height and obesity are two-level teaching contents in physical education and health courses. It provides a broad learning space for students to choose, experience and observe independently. Integrate with the new curriculum standards, cultivate students to form the habit of rational configuration of their bodies from an early age, and make their bodies grow healthily.
According to the requirements of the new curriculum standards for the five learning areas of "sports participation, sports skills, physical health, mental health and social adaptation", I have determined the teaching objectives of this course:
1. Let students observe the physical characteristics of themselves and others.
2. Let students know why they are tall, short, fat and thin.
3. Cultivate students' health awareness and health awareness.
In order to achieve the above goals, I have determined the teaching theme of this course as "teacher-centered, student-centered, and happy teaching-centered". The teaching methods I use are: questioning method, demonstration method, comparison method, situational method, etc. Students observe, discuss and cooperate.
In order to stimulate students' desire to learn, I showed them pictures, including Yao Ming, the little giant, Pan Changjiang, the comedian, and the skinny people in African countries. Let the students look at these pictures and talk about their differences. In this way, students' enthusiasm for participating in activities will be very high, and teachers' redundant explanations and demonstrations in the original classroom will be reduced, which will not set an example among students, safeguard students' self-esteem, and really promote students' internalization from passive learning to active learning.
When students begin to really care about others, they will gradually think of their physical characteristics and become anxious inside. Are you tall? Will it grow taller? Why am I so thin? Why am I fat? How can we have a healthy body? Wait, this part is an important part of this course teaching. In order to better achieve and complete the learning objectives of this course, I adopted the teaching principle of step by step and promoted it at different levels.
I designed the teaching process of this class like this:
First, I am fat and thin. Take a thin man and a fat girl in an African country as an example and ask the students what is the difference between them. Let the students speak freely and express their different views. For the answers found within hours, discuss in groups immediately to find out the reasons for obesity, and then each group summarizes a basic opinion. Students compare their answers with the teachers' answers to strengthen their inquiry consciousness.
Second, pay attention to arouse students' interest, starting with height, in order to let students know the relationship between height and height, show students the heights of Yao Ming and Pan Changjiang by the present means, and then let them explore for themselves that people's height is influenced by race, gender, heredity, nutrition and physical exercise.
Thirdly, according to the above content, let students draw the conclusion that obesity and thinness are unhealthy, and then tell students the harm of obesity and thinness, so that students can pay attention to their health. Finally, let the students realize the importance of controlling their healthy bodies, so as to sum up how to control their body shape.
Fourth, practicality (extended teaching)
Use games to carry out practical activities-dumb communication, so that students can experience the charm of sports in happiness.
These are my teaching ideas for this class, and I have prepared a courseware.
