Common acidic food
Weak acidity: barley, flour, bran, white rice, bread, cheese, abalone, octopus, shrimp, snapper, cream, eggs, peas, beer, wine, fried tofu, laver, clams and loach.
Moderately acidic: ham, bacon, chicken, tuna, pork, eel, beef, wheat, horse meat, etc.
Strong acidity: germ rice, buckwheat flour, oats, rice bran, oysters, peanuts, dried small fish, salmon, scallops, fish eggs, crabs, clams, egg yolks, cheese, white sugar-made West Point or persimmon, mullet roe, firewood fish, etc.
Ordinary alkaline food
Weak alkalinity: red beans, radishes, apples, Chinese cabbage, onions, tofu, cabbage, corn, lentils, peas, bamboo shoots, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, lotus roots, apples, pineapples, cherries, pears, peaches and watermelons.
Moderately alkaline: dried radish, soybean, carrot, tomato, banana, orange, pumpkin, strawberry, protein, dried plum, lemon, spinach, etc.
Strong alkalinity: tea, wine, kelp bud, kelp, gourd, konjac, celery, lettuce, red bean, taro, potato, pepper, ginger, mushroom and orange.
