The temperature of each part can indirectly represent the temperature of an organ. For example, the temperature of the nasopharynx and tympanum is similar to that of the brain. Lower esophageal temperature represents heart temperature. Rectal temperature, indicating the body temperature in the inner center of the body.
Temperature measurement method
(1) Mercury thermometer in glass. It is the most commonly used thermometer. The storage capsule of the glass tube is filled with mercury. After it is inserted into the mouth or anus, the temperature change is obtained by using the principle of thermal expansion, which is not suitable for anesthesia because of inconvenient management. In some developed countries, human body temperature measurement has been completely cancelled. One of the reasons is that this thermometer is easy to break down, and the more important reason is to protect the environment.
(2)? Electronic thermometer? 1. thermistor thermometer 2. Thermocouple thermometer. The former uses the principle that the resistance in the thermometer changes with the temperature, and the latter uses the principle that the current composed of two metals is related to the temperature difference it accepts. Due to the rapid development of science and technology and the reduction of cost, electronic thermometers are becoming more and more popular.
Electronic thermometer can not only be used for intermittent measurement like mercury thermometer, but also be used for continuous measurement (once per second), which provides great help for continuous monitoring of body temperature.
