1. White porcelain rice bowls and glass cans
When I was a child, the family conditions were poor, and adults and children did not have special cups for drinking water. At that time, white porcelain rice bowls with blue border patterns were the most used for drinking water. When you are thirsty, you can drink a bowl of cold water directly from the white porcelain rice bowl, which is very refreshing. I don't know if it's because I drank too much cold water. At that time, sometimes my stomach ached badly. Adults usually let me climb onto the kang and "sand" my back from top to bottom.
If you eat canned food occasionally at home, you will give everyone one or two cans to eat, and the remaining cans will often become treasures for holding water and drinking water, which will be taken away by several children.
In addition to cans, glasses filled with fashionable drugs will also be used as cups.
Second, plastic cups
At one time, those "space cups" with different shapes and colors and various plastic cups became the most popular drinking utensils and were widely used. Migrant workers can drink all day with that cheap mug. Pupils can drink water or play with toys with those delicate ones. Just a few examples.
No one has verified that plastic cups are harmful to health, but the smell emitted by plastic cups after long use is really unpleasant. So now most people have given up using it.
Third, the metal cup.
Among many drinking utensils, metal cups belong to the more expensive category. It is often people with status who will buy and use it. Now that conditions are generally improved, many ordinary people will buy and use them in luxury. The disadvantage of metal cups is that single-layer heat, double-layer cold water is slow, and cheap ones sometimes rust, so many people stay away from them.
Fourth, ceramic cups or glasses
These two kinds of cups should be the most popular. With the improvement of living conditions, those exquisite ceramic cups are no longer exclusive to literati. But its disadvantage is that it is inconvenient to carry and easy to break. And glass cups, of course, do not refer to "fake" products such as cans or medicine bottles. Because they are crystal clear after pouring water or crystal brown after making tea, they will give people a clean and healthy feeling and are increasingly welcomed by people. Although glass cups can also be very hot, this problem has been overcome after designers put handles or plastic coats on the cups.
It is said that the healthiest cup is a glass cup, and the unhealthy cup is a paper cup. I think so, too, so now I use glass cups the most and refuse to use paper cups.
