When we first started running, we often ran at will. Seeing someone running every day, we follow the trend every day. As a result, others were fine and they got hurt all over themselves. Only then can I know that novices can't run too much every day.
So, how many times a week does a novice run to be healthy?
Beginners can run four or five times a week. And the best 3~5km is much better, maybe too much.
Why can't beginners run every day?
The novice has just started running, and his body can't fully adapt. After running, the degree of physical fatigue will be much deeper than that of runners who have been running for a long time.
When fatigue accumulates to a certain extent, it must be relieved by rest. After your body recovers, you can start your next run.
If you continue running without rest, your body's fatigue will become more and more serious. Over time, there will definitely be problems with your running parts. Moreover, fatigue will also affect your running state. You will run more and more tired, run more and more empty, see no hope of progress, and the exercise effect will be greatly reduced.
What's more, the muscle fibers in the legs will be slightly torn after each run. And our body has the function of self-repair, it will repair these torn muscle fibers, and the repaired muscles will become stronger, thus improving your running ability.
However, this repair process was completed during the break. If you don't rest and continue running, these torn muscle fibers won't have a chance to be repaired. The result of hard support is that muscles become weaker day by day, and injuries will come frequently.
So novice runners must combine running and rest to arrange daily running.
You can start with one break and two breaks, and gradually transition to three breaks and four breaks.
So you just started running, and you can run about four times a week.
When your foundation is improved and your running ability is strengthened, your body can already cope with the current running intensity. Run once, and when you can fully recover in one night, you can go running every day.
So novices must not rush for success. Take your time. Running is for health. If you get hurt from running, it's not worth it.
