Pretending to be an adult and playing games late at night? Tencent games's "Zero Cruise" function is fully launched.

In order to solve the problem of minors playing games at night under the disguise of adults, on July 5th, tencent games further strengthened the existing face recognition verification and officially launched the "zero cruise" function.

"Zero Cruise" aims to screen the faces of accounts whose real names are adults and play games at night for more than a certain period of time. Anyone who refuses or fails to pass the face verification will be regarded as a minor, brought into the anti-addiction supervision of tencent games health system, and kicked off the line.

Since April this year, tencent games has conducted a small-scale test of "zero cruise" in a few of its products. After completing the relevant technical optimization, Zero Cruise has been launched in more than 60 products such as the glory of the king and Peace Elite, and will gradually cover more other game products in the future.

In addition, in another key link of tencent games's minor protection system-the Growth Guarding Platform, a new "Guarding Lock" function is introduced to solve the problem that children may steal their parents' mobile phones to modify the guarding scheme. After the parents unlock the doorman lock, every time they set and modify the doorman scheme, they need to verify the face recognition first to verify whether it is the parents themselves, so as to prevent the children from bypassing the parents and modifying it privately.

The protection system for minors in tencent games has been upgraded to 3.0 since last June. On the basis of "restricting play, charging and curfew" for real-name minors, the application scope of face recognition technology will be further expanded, and the problem of "children fraudulently using parental identity information to bypass supervision" will be specifically addressed, and users of suspected minors will be strengthened.

Through continuous technical and functional improvement, the related effects of minors' protection in tencent games have been continuously improved. According to the latest data, as of June 20021year, 5.8 million accounts and 28,000 accounts triggered face recognition verification every day. Among them, 9 1.4% accounts in the login link were included in the anti-addiction supervision due to rejection or verification failure, and 87% accounts in the payment link were prevented from being recharged.

At present, the protection of minors has entered the "deep water area", and tencent games will continue to actively explore and work with all sectors of society to create a good game space for the healthy growth of minors.
