How to do tuberculosis DNA examination
To evaluate the application value of qualitative detection of tuberculosis DNA in peripheral blood leukocytes in the diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis, and to find a new diagnostic method for pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods: According to the different clinical manifestations of pulmonary tuberculosis, 144 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis were divided into two groups: positive group and negative group in sputum of type II pulmonary tuberculosis, and positive group and negative group in sputum of type III pulmonary tuberculosis. The quality of this method was controlled by taking venous blood of healthy people as control. Results: The total positive rate of tuberculosis DNA in peripheral blood of 47 patients with disseminated tuberculosis was 65.9%. Among them, 19 patients with sputum mycobacterium tuberculosis were 13, with a positive rate of 68%, and 28 patients with sputum mycobacterium tuberculosis were 18, with a positive rate of 64%. Among them, among 43 cases of secondary pulmonary tuberculosis, 28 cases were positive for tuberculosis DNA, with a positive rate of 65%, and among 54 cases of secondary pulmonary tuberculosis, 36 cases were negative for tuberculosis DNA, with a positive rate of 67%. The positive rate of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in sputum was 66%. The positive rate of sputum tuberculosis negative group was 65.8%. There was no statistical difference among the above groups, P > 0.05. All healthy people are negative. Conclusion: The positive rate of qualitative detection of tuberculosis DNA in peripheral blood leukocytes of tuberculosis patients is 66%, which is not affected by the detection rate of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in sputum. Qualitative detection of tuberculosis DNA in peripheral blood leukocytes can be used for the diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis, especially for pulmonary tuberculosis patients with atypical X-ray manifestations, negative sputum test or no sputum.
