Occupational health protection and prevention of occupational diseases involve a wide range, which is a long-term systematic project. On the one hand, we must vigorously carry out special governance actions, on the other hand, we cannot do without the establishment of a long-term mechanism.
In order to better cope with the new situation and new requirements faced by occupational health work, the Health and Health Commission pays attention to the demonstration effect of health enterprises and "occupational health experts", and continues to build health enterprises and strive to be "occupational health experts". By organizing counties (cities, districts) and development zones to widely mobilize the units under their jurisdiction, give full play to the demonstration and leading role of large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises, focus on organizing activities for front-line workers, vigorously promote health management and health culture construction, and actively spread advanced health concepts and culture.
Key work of occupational disease prevention and control
1. Strengthening the main responsibility of the unit: As the main person responsible for the prevention and control of occupational diseases, the employer is fully responsible for the prevention and control of occupational diseases in the unit, strictly preventing, controlling and eliminating occupational hazards, and taking responsibility for the occupational hazards generated by the unit according to law. It is necessary to clarify the person in charge of occupational health work, set up or designate occupational health management institutions according to law, and equip full-time (part-time) occupational health management personnel.
2. Implement the responsibility of territorial management: towns and sub-district offices should incorporate the prevention and control of occupational diseases into the overall plan of national economic and social development, effectively strengthen overall coordination and promote implementation. The municipal government is responsible for unified leadership, organization and coordination of occupational disease prevention and control within its administrative area, establishing and improving the system and mechanism of occupational disease prevention and control, preventing and defusing major risks in the field of occupational health, and organizing and guiding the disposal of acute occupational poisoning and occupational disease hazards.
3. Tightening the supervision responsibility of departments: All departments should earnestly perform their duties of occupational disease prevention and control in accordance with the requirement that "the management industry must manage safety and occupational health".
