The steps to apply for a health code are as follows:

1. Open WeChat and click My-Service.

2. Click on medical health in life service.

3. After entering Tencent Health, select the city in the upper left corner, and then click the electronic health card.

4. Click Apply Now.

5. Enter the page to fill in the card receiving information.

6. After entering all the information, click Apply for Health Card.

7. If the application is successful, click to display the QR code.
