Is the drug hygiene certificate the same as the food hygiene certificate?

In fact, China's health certificates are mainly divided into two types. As employees in the catering industry, they must apply for health certificates according to regulations. The health certificate here belongs to food health certificate, which is different from ordinary health certificate. Previously, most people thought that hepatitis B virus carriers could not engage in the food industry, because they were contagious, so they could not apply for health certificates. But in fact, we can know from the previous "Regulations on the Implementation of the Food Safety Law" that China now allows hepatitis B virus carriers to engage in the food industry, which means they can also apply for health certificates. The health certificate in public places should be looser, as long as there are no respiratory infectious diseases, while the health certificate in the food industry should be stricter, and there should be no digestive infectious diseases. Article 45 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Food Safety Law: Food producers and business operators shall establish and implement the health management system for employees. Persons suffering from diseases that hinder food safety as stipulated by the administrative department of health of the State Council shall not engage in direct contact with imported food. Food production and marketing personnel engaged in direct contact with imported food shall undergo annual health examination and obtain health certificates before taking up their posts. Article 7 of the Regulations on Hygiene Management in Public Places: Personnel who directly serve customers in public places must hold a Health Certificate before they can engage in their own jobs. Persons suffering from dysentery, typhoid fever, viral hepatitis, active tuberculosis, purulent or exudative skin diseases and other diseases that hinder public health shall not engage in direct customer service before they are cured.

Legal basis: Article 7 of the Regulations on Hygiene Management in Public Places: People who directly serve customers in public places can only hold the Health Certificate to do their own jobs. Persons suffering from dysentery, typhoid fever, viral hepatitis, active tuberculosis, purulent or exudative skin diseases and other diseases that hinder public health shall not engage in direct customer service before they are cured.
