Brief introduction of research
China's research on health economics began in the late 1970s. 1978, the health department summarized the experience and lessons of health construction since the founding of the People's Republic of China, analyzed the shortcomings in the health management system and the reasons for the serious waste of health resources, and discussed a series of economic theoretical and practical problems raised in health work.
We began to reform the management system and take measures to strengthen economic management, thus promoting the development of health economics research. China Health Economics Research Association was founded in 1982( 1984 was renamed Health Economics Society).
