Yichuan is Yan 'an City, Shaanxi Province. Yichuan is located in the north of Shaanxi Province, southeast of Yan 'an City, on the shore of Hukou Waterfall in the middle reaches of the Yellow River, adjacent to the revolutionary holy land in Baota District of Yan 'an in the north, Huanglong in the south, Hancheng, the hometown of Taishi, and across the Yellow River from Jixian County in Shanxi Province in the east. Yichuan belongs to the hilly and gully region of the Loess Plateau in northern Shaanxi, and its landform is mainly "mountains, rivers, ditches and terraces".
