How to distinguish diseases from the color of tongue coating?

1. The tongue coating is thin and white, reddish in color and free to move. This is a normal tongue picture, healthy body and no disease in internal organs.

2. The tongue is pale and white without coating. Explain blood deficiency.

3. The tongue is light, smooth and without moss. It indicates deficiency of cold or lack of vitamin B 12 and folic acid.

4. The tongue is red and crimson. Mostly heat and inflammation.

5. The tongue is blue and purple. Mainly lack of oxygen.

6. Sprinkle round red dots on the tip of the tongue and both sides of the tongue. It means there is ascaris in the intestine.

7. White moss. Mostly cold syndrome.

8. Yellow moss. Mainly a fever.
