Dean and Academician Gao of Peking Union Medical College attended the meeting, and nearly ten experts from Peking Union Medical College attended the meeting. The innovation system of basic and clinical medical research in China is a sub-project of National Health and Medical Health Development Strategy, a major consulting project of China Academy of Engineering. Cao Xuetao, Dean of Peking Union Medical College, first spoke at the meeting, pointing out that the country's development is at an important historical node, paying more attention to people's livelihood while paying attention to the economy. As a major livelihood issue, medical and health care should plan China's medical research system at the national level with the concept of great health, and form a long-term plan with complete chain and strategic significance.
