What are the main factors that affect the mental health of civil servants?

At present, civil servants in China mainly face two kinds of "stressors": psychological fatigue caused by busy work and psychological anxiety caused by "skill panic". Grass-roots front-line civil servants are the main troubled groups.

On the one hand, busy work leads to psychological fatigue. In the current civil servants, psychological fatigue is a relatively common state. Grass-roots civil servants, in particular, deal with all kinds of trivial matters, contradictions and disputes, work at a fast pace, overtime is the norm, and there is often anxiety about making mistakes in their work.

Due to the overload of work tasks, many grass-roots civil servants have to spend a lot of time and energy on their work, and have no time to take care of the education of the elderly and their children, which leads to family conflicts. This kind of pressure from family also has a negative impact on the mental health of some civil servants.

On the other hand, "skill panic" causes psychological anxiety. Due to the increasing public demand for government work, the pressure on civil servants has doubled, including the challenge of knowledge society to the ruling ability, the test of administrative accountability system to the ability of administration according to law, and the test of people-oriented scientific ruling ability.
