What's Akso again?

Akso is a goddess of health in Greek mythology, with the image of a young woman holding a bowl full of snakes. She is the god of medicine in charge of health, safety and medical treatment in Greek religion, and her image in western literature is equivalent to the legendary Bian Que in China.

The earliest place to worship her was Titan in the west of Corinth. She was worshipped with Asclepius, the god of medicine. At first, there was no special relationship between her and Asclepius, but she was gradually regarded as his daughter. Later, in literary works, they became husband and wife again.
