What is light circulating oil?

Light cycle oil is a kind of light oil, that is, LCO, and there are also light cycle oils in catalytic cracking. The light circulating oil in the catalyst refers to light diesel oil.

Light oil generally refers to a mixture of hydrocarbons with a boiling point of about 50 ~ 350℃, but its meaning is not very strict.

Circulating oil is developed from refined mineral base oil with high viscosity index and antioxidant, antirust and antiwear additives. It has good thermal stability and excellent corrosion resistance, which is beneficial to prolong the service life of bearings.

Another advantage of circulating oil is that it can quickly separate water from waste gas.

Extended data:

Imported light oil (liquefied gas) 2000 yuan/ton [density 0.60-0.68]; Light oil is a light yellow or colorless transparent flammable liquid with a boiling point of 36. 1

In petroleum refining industry, it can refer to light distillate oil or light oil.

The former includes gasoline (or naphtha), kerosene (or jet fuel), light diesel oil (or atmospheric gas oil) and other fractions, as well as topping oil and raffinate oil, which mainly come from crude oil distillation, catalytic cracking, thermal cracking, petroleum coking, hydrocracking and catalytic reforming.

The latter is an oil product obtained by refining light distillate oil (sometimes adding additives).
