Catalogue of the third edition of public health service standards

Legal analysis: including 12 items, namely: residents' health file management, health education, vaccination, health management of children aged 0-6, maternal health management, health management of the elderly, health management of patients with chronic diseases (including hypertension and type 2 diabetes), health management of patients with severe mental disorders, health management of tuberculosis patients, health management of traditional Chinese medicine, infectious disease report and public health emergencies. In each service specification, the service object, content, process, requirements, work indicators and service record table of national basic public health service items are specified respectively.

Legal basis: People's Republic of China (PRC) Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases.

Article 6 The health administrative department of the State Council is in charge of the prevention and control of infectious diseases and its supervision and management. The health administrative departments of local people's governments at or above the county level shall be responsible for the prevention and control of infectious diseases and their supervision and management within their respective administrative areas. Other departments of the people's governments at or above the county level shall be responsible for the prevention and control of infectious diseases within their respective functions and duties. The prevention and control of infectious diseases in the army shall be handled in accordance with this Law and the relevant provisions of the state, and shall be supervised and managed by the competent health department of the People's Liberation Army of China.

Seventh disease prevention and control institutions at all levels shall undertake the monitoring, prediction, epidemiological investigation and epidemic report of infectious diseases. Medical institutions undertake the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases related to medical treatment and the prevention of infectious diseases in their areas of responsibility. Urban communities and rural grass-roots medical institutions shall, under the guidance of disease prevention and control institutions, undertake the corresponding prevention and control of infectious diseases in urban communities and rural grass-roots units.
