Brief introduction of Mianshan scenic spot
Mianshan, also known as Jieshan, is located 20 kilometers southeast of Jiexiu City. It is a branch of Taiyue Mountain (Huoshan Mountain) extending northward. The mountains here are steep, with many cliffs and many pines and cypresses. The natural scenery is beautiful, and there are many cultural attractions. To visit Mianshan, you usually go to Jiexiu first. At Jiexiu Railway Station, you can transfer to the local bus or "Mianshan Scenic Area Bus" to reach the scenic spot. It takes about 30 minutes by car. Mianshan scenic area is large, so it is generally recommended to visit for 2 days.
Mianshan has beautiful natural scenery, many ancient trees and rocks, mountain flowers everywhere, and various caves and waterfalls. There are more than 100 large and small caves on the mountain, mainly including Fu Bao Rock, Fengfang Spring, Liguyan and Lengyanshe. The internal space of ventral rock is huge, and tens of thousands of tourists don't feel crowded in the cave. Honeycomb Spring is a concave cliff with a height of100m and a width of 30m. In the lower part of the cliff, there are dozens of stone milk covered with moss. The cool spring water is constant all the year round, and it makes a tinkling sound when it is injected into the stone pool.

In order to further improve the prevention and control of epidemic situation in scenic spots and ensure the safety and comfort of tourists. According to the requirements of Shanxi Provincial Leading Group Meeting on Epidemic Prevention and Control, Mianshan Scenic Area will take the following measures to further strengthen the epidemic prevention and control from August 1 day, 2026:
1. All visitors entering the scenic spot must wear masks correctly and show their travel codes or health codes. Actively cooperate with the staff to do a good job in temperature measurement, disinfection, registration information and so on. Visitors whose body temperature exceeds 37.3 (inclusive) are not allowed to enter.
Two, tourists from high-risk areas must take the initiative to declare in accordance with the provisions, and hold a negative certificate of nucleic acid detection within 72 hours before entry.
Third, the scenic spot will monitor the density of tourists in real time, and the carrying capacity of tourists will be controlled within 70% of the approved carrying capacity.
Please keep a reasonable distance from other tourists during the tour, don't get together or gather together, and follow the guidance of the staff in the scenic spot.
