The association system is perfect. In addition to the articles of association, the association has also formulated management measures for branches and representative offices, membership rules and detailed internal management systems. As the operation center of the Association, the Secretariat has several business departments. With more than 30 full-time staff, the Association is one of the strongest associations in the field of occupational safety, health and safe production in China. The association also actively set up entities to carry out safety evaluation business.
In recent years, closely centering on the central task of national occupational safety, health and production safety, the Association has earnestly completed a series of tasks authorized or entrusted by state administration of work safety. For example, pneumoconiosis investigation, teaching guidance committee of safety engineering discipline in colleges and universities, daily work of technical service qualification evaluation of safety engineering specialty, preparation of safety science and technology planning, evaluation of scientific and technological achievements in safety production, service and management of safety production expert group, work of secretariat of dust and gas classification committee, safety examination and approval of coal mine construction projects, promotion of gas pre-drainage technology in various fields of high gas mines, occupational safety and health work, and construction of safe communities. On the one hand, these works give full play to the advantages of the association's knowledge-intensive, talented and detached status, on the other hand, they also fully reflect the characteristics of the association as a right-hand man of the government.
