Second, the choice of masks and matters needing attention
Proper use, storage and cleaning of masks are the key to maintain their effectiveness. It is recommended that the public choose disposable medical masks, medical surgical masks or masks with protection level above, and abide by the following provisions:
1, wear a mask correctly, ensure that the mask covers the nose, mouth and chin, and the nose clip should be pressed tightly;
2. When the mask is dirty, deformed, damaged or smelly, it should be replaced in time, and the cumulative wearing time of each mask should not exceed 8 hours;
3. It is not recommended to reuse masks that have been used in cross-regional public transport vehicles or hospitals;
4. Reusable masks should be hung in a clean, dry and ventilated place when not in use;
5. If you feel suffocated or short of breath during wearing the mask, you should immediately take off the mask in an open and ventilated place;
6. Carry a spare mask when going out and store it in the original packaging bag or clean storage bag to avoid extrusion and deformation. Abandoned masks are classified as other garbage disposal;
7. It is recommended that families keep a small amount of particulate matter protective masks * and medical protective masks for future use.
Note: * Particulate matter protective mask refers to the product that meets the requirements of "disposable mask" in the standard of "Breathing Protection Self-priming Filter Anti-Particulate Matter Respirator" and has no exhalation valve. If there are special type requirements, the type and filtration grade should be indicated in brackets, such as "particulate matter protective mask". If it is not marked, it means all disposable masks.
