3. Physical Anthropology and Bioarchaeology

The research direction mainly includes:

① Using the method of physical anthropology (the scale of ancient bone specimen bank in this discipline is second to none in domestic universities) to study the population composition and ethnographic classification of ancient human groups;

② Using DNA method (this discipline has the first specialized laboratory for archaeological DNA research in domestic universities) to identify individuals and families of ancient human bones unearthed underground, and to reveal their relationship in species evolution by comparing the genetic similarities and differences of different populations;

4. Foreign archaeology

The research in this direction is devoted to the integration of China archaeology and world archaeology. Mainly includes the following aspects:
