People who know my totoro come in. My cat has a soft stool today. Is there something wrong with her stomach

Normal chinchilla poop is dry and tasteless, with full and round ends, and pores can be seen after being broken. If not, it may be a problem with digestion or eating.

See if you have diarrhea. You may have eaten unclean food, or the food has gone bad and moldy, with the highest incidence in summer, or given food or fruit unsuitable for chinchillas, nervous chinchillas or sudden changes in environment, temperature and food, and slight heatstroke may all lead to chinchillas diarrhea.

If the shape of the chinchilla poop suddenly changes, becomes soft, the ends are not round, or even the excrement is brown or black and thin, it may be diarrhea in different degrees. Slight diarrhea has little effect on chinchilla, but if it is often found licking its anus, it will fidget and sometimes hurt. If not treated in time, it is easy to turn into enteritis.

If it is really diarrhea, stop feeding chinchilla feed, alfalfa leaves and snacks immediately. Only the stems of Timothy grass or alfalfa grass are fed to chinchillas, and a small amount of dried garlic braids, dried onion leaves and a proper amount of salt can be added. Observe the stool every day for 2-4 days until the stool becomes hard. Then gradually add a small amount of feed to my chinchilla, and don't give any snacks until I am fully recovered. When the condition is serious, it is necessary to adjust the feed and take medicine at the same time: 0.5 g of sulfagallic acid mixture is used twice a day for 2-3 days, which can prevent it from worsening into enteritis.
